These are the Official Rules of the LuxuryVault Hermès Birkin Inaugural Draw. By entering, you agree to be bound by these rules in their entirety. Please read them carefully.
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family members of LuxuryVault Inc., its affiliates, suppliers, and anyone professionally connected to the administration of the Contest are not eligible to enter.
The Contest begins on June 6th at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time and ends on July 7 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”). The draw will take place on July 7 at 10:30 p.m.
During the Contest Period, visit luxuryvault.ca and complete the entry form. Each ticket is CAD $100. Payment may be made by credit/debit card or Interac e-Transfer. Entries are confirmed by email upon successful payment.
Each individual person is limited to a maximum of five (5) paid entries per draw, regardless of email address or mailing address. Entries that exceed this limit, or that the Sponsor reasonably believes were submitted by the same person in excess of this limit, will be disqualified in their entirety.
Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without mechanical or other aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor at the time of notification. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate entrant.
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: a Hermès Birkin with an Approximate Retail Value of CAD $20,000. The prize is awarded as-is, in the condition described at the time of the Contest announcement. No cash equivalent or substitution will be offered, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion if the advertised prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will be conducted on a publicly streamed broadcast on the Sponsor’s Instagram and TikTok channels. The selected entrant will be contacted by email and telephone using the information provided at entry within five (5) business days of the draw, and must respond and successfully complete all prize-claim requirements within seven (7) days of first contact, failing which the entrant will be disqualified and an alternate entrant selected.
Before being awarded the prize, the selected entrant must: (a) provide valid government-issued photo identification confirming eligibility; (b) correctly answer the skill-testing question; and (c) sign and return a Declaration and Release form confirming compliance with these rules, accepting the prize as awarded, releasing the Sponsor from liability, and consenting to the use of their name, city of residence, and likeness for promotional purposes. The prize is available for in-person pickup in Toronto, Ontario, or insured shipping to any address within Canada (excluding Quebec) at the Sponsor’s expense.
By entering, each entrant consents, if selected as the winner, to the use of their first name, last initial, city and province of residence, photograph, video, voice, and statements for advertising and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest if any factor interferes with its proper conduct, including but not limited to fraud, technical failure, or any cause beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has tampered with the entry process, violated these rules, or acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, each entrant releases the Sponsor, its affiliates, suppliers, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
Personal information collected from entrants is used solely for the purposes of administering this Contest and is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes without consent.
